Brookes Geospatial was initially appointed to undertake the topographical survey for the proposed Marks & Spencer Foodhall development in Colne.
The survey established the existing site geometry and levels required to support the design and planning process, creating a detailed base of information for the wider project team.
As the development moves into its construction phase, Barnfield Construction has appointed Brookes Geospatial again to provide setting-out support — taking our involvement from the original site survey through into delivery on the ground.

The initial survey provided the existing-site information needed during design. Returning for the construction phase means the same surveying team can now support the translation of design information back onto the site through accurate setting out.

The repeat appointment demonstrates continuity across the development: the team that captured the existing site will also help position the new works as construction progresses.
